She creates sculptures every day, hoping that one day these feelings of anxiety, lust, unexpressed feelings, and emotional sediment that have built up in her heart will sparkle and be reborn.
For her lacquer sculptures, the original model is created using clay modeling techniques, and the base material is water-based acrylic resin (jesmonite). The entire surface is finished with lacquer.By mainly using a lacquer technique called "irosabi" that has a matte texture, unique shade of colors are created, expressing softness and warmth.
While her unique and distinctive style of expression soothes the soul, she also has a style that focuses on the negative emotions that build up in the human heart, and while at first glance they may seem surreal, they also have a bittersweet quality. Both of her works have careful, realistic shapes and warm expressions that seem so soft they are hard to believe they are sculptures, completely changing the concept of sculpture. Her works are also fascinating in that they combine opposing textures, with her own unique techniques added to the original lacquer, using the gloss of lacquer and the technique of color rust.
