This is a light, transparent membrane-like piece made by connecting natural leaf veins with needles and thread.
Instead of using the veins as they are, I cut them out with scissors into arbitrary shapes. By cutting the leaves, a contrast between the lines and the surfaces is created, resulting in beautiful silhouettes and shadows.
